1. What’s included in the excursion price?
Ground transportation, guided tours/activities, entrance fees to listed experiences, and meals unless otherwise listed.

 

2. How many people are in the group?
Group sizes vary, but are no more than 12 guests.

3. What should I bring with me?
Comfortable clothing, appropriate footwear, swimming/beach attire, weather protection, and any personal essentials. Attendees will receive a comprehensive list to prepare for the trip.

4. Is the excursion suitable for all fitness levels?
Many are, but some involve walking. Please let us know of any mobility issues you may have so that we can best accommodate you.

 5. Are children allowed?
Attendees must be at least 21 years of age.

7. Can I cancel or reschedule?
Cancellations/Refunds are fully refundable (excluding $250 deposit) through April 13, 2026.

  • Transfers to another participant are allowed

 *Refunds will be issued if the group is unable to travel due to external circumstances.

8. Do I need a visa to visit Senegal?
Currently, 90-day visits are visa-free. We will be keeping an eye out for any shifts in this policy.

9. What currency is used in Senegal?
Senegal uses the West African CFA franc (XOF). Cash is widely used, but many spaces use cards and the digital platform, Wave.

10. What languages are spoken?
French is the official language. Wolof is widely spoken; English is spoken by a small population as well.

11. Is Senegal safe for tourists?
Senegal is considered one of the safest countries in West Africa. As with any destination, use normal travel precautions.

12. What should I wear?
Light, breathable clothing is best. Modest dress is appreciated, especially in rural areas and religious sites.

13. Do I need any vaccinations?
Routine vaccines are recommended, but no travel-specific vaccines are required.

14. Are flights included in the price?
No, airfare is not included in the price. However, if you would like assistance with selecting a flight, we are happy to assist.
